The Route
There is really no set route for the rally. Teams can choose to go any way they wish. The most direct route takes you through Ukraine and Russia, but in the past teams have gone all the way north to the Arctic Circle and as far south as Iran. Scroll down to have a look at our intended route.
We can't rely on google maps to get us there. That's plan A out the window. Anyone know how to use a compass?
The Silk Road Taxi Service has now decided on a route. After careful consideration of visas, wars, closed borders and how much we did or didn't want to upset our mothers we have set out how we are going to get from A to B..via C, D, E and F. Marked out on the map below are the major waypoints. Some more refining will get done once we have stolen borrowed the right books from people. Let us know what you think.
